마이너리티 리포트-사이코패스

 4분기 신작 애니중 미래 현실을 다룬 [사이코패스]가 호평을 받고있다. 이시다 아키라가 담당한 캐릭터 카가리 슈세이가 매력적이라해서 더더욱 혹하지만, 생방 달리는게 쥐약이라 참고 있다. 본격 관련 감상 후기는 추후에. 

 대략 줄거리를 보니 마이너리티 리포트가 생각났다. 영화는 보지 않았고, 학창시절 풀던 영어 참고서에 줄거리로 실렸던 것을 접했었는데 내용이 흥미로워서 기억하고 있었다. 다시 찾아보니 있더라. 옛추억이 새록새록.

The movie Minority Report shows a future society where no crimes take place. Certain people in this society have a special ability to see the future. They can see crimes before they happen. 

Tom Cruise has the job of arresting the future criminals. However he gets into trouble when he is himself accused of killing a person in the future. As a future criminal, he has to run away before the police can catch him.

 A recent study shows that this movie may not be just a fantasy. The study found that some boys with a certain gene are likely to become criminals in the future. So it may be possible to make drugs to treat these future criminals. But some people think it's wrong to consider a boy a criminal before he has done anything wrong. I also think it's wrong to depend on special drugs to stop crimes. Instead we should fight crimes by trying to solve deep-rooted social problems.

마이너리티 리포트 (Minority Report)

영화 속 세계관에서는 예지자 3명이 범죄자를 예견한 후, 범죄 대상과 범죄자 이름이 새겨진 둥근 공을 경찰에게 제출한다. 보통 3명 예견이 일치하지만 가끔 한명의 결과가 불일치 할 때도 발생하기도 해, 이와같이 다른 한 명, 즉 소수의 의견을 'Minority Report'로 명명한 것이다.
